The home
Centered around a private open-air courtyard, this architect-designed coastal home is designed for light, airflow and relaxed indoor–outdoor living — just a 6-minute walk from Manly Beach. You’re also only a 5-minute walk to the beachfront, a 15-minute beachfront stroll to Manly Central, a 4-minute drive into town, and just 1 minute to the bus stop with a quick 2-minute ride to the Manly Harbour ferry.
Slide back the kitchen windows, open the louvres and let the sea breeze move through the home. With recycled timber floors, generous open-plan living and layered outdoor spaces, this two-storey retreat offers space, privacy and comfort for up to eight guests.
Ground Floor
The lower level forms the social heart of the home. Open-plan living, dining and kitchen spaces wrap around the central courtyard, creating beautiful natural light and cross-ventilation.
A queen bedroom with a minibar fridge, a dedicated work desk, and a TV with Chromecast is also located on this level — ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine (with grinder), dishwasher, air fryer, pie maker and pantry essentials, with dining seating for up to 10.
A hall door allowing for privacy closes off the front part of the house.

First Floor
Upstairs, three bedrooms are arranged around a hallway overlooking the palm tree courtyard.
The master suite features a king bed, a private balcony and two-way bathroom access.
A second queen bedroom includes its own ensuite, while the third bedroom offers two single beds and a dedicated desk.
The shared bathroom includes a bath and a heated towel rack.
Parking
- 1 visitor parking pass provided for free on-street parking
- For additional cars, free daytime parking is available for a maximum of 2 hours
- 4-hour parking at the end of the street on Balgowlah Road
- Free overnight street parking from 10 pm - 8 am
House Rules
- Please respect the property and neighbours
- Smoking will incur a penalty
- The timber floors are oil based and as such any water left on the floor will damage and leave marks. Please wipe and dry all liquid spills straight away. Damaging the timber floors will incur a penalty
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am on weekdays and between 12:00 am and 8:00 am on weekends (Friday - Sunday)
- Check-in is after 3:00 pm; checkout is by 10:00 am
- Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to approval
- Long-term stays are allowed. Please contact us for more information.
- Additional guests or visitors must be approved in advance, with a fee applied if not notified beforehand
- No parties allowed
- Small gatherings are subject to approval
- Only small hypoallergenic dogs are permitted. An $80/pet fee will be charged before arrival
- You will be charged $250 if you lose the visitor car pass
- Remove all rubbish to recycling bins down the side of the house - recycling blue paper, yellow bottle/cans, hard plastics, and red general. Additional charges may apply for excessive waste left in the property
Guests have access to the entire home.

Gorgeous sun-drenced house in an amazing location. Beautiful beach vibe, coastal pavillion in a quiet street 5 minutes from the beach, cafes and bars. The house is double story, is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Great house for a summer break as lots of louvre windows and glass sliding external doors to open up the living area creating more indoor/outdoor rooms. Would suit multiple families as 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms/ensuites, big kitchen and living area and bbq. Perfect for a summer or winter stay. Alexander and Michelle went above and beyond to accomodate me. Great hosts. Highly recommend.
