Beyond Property Management: How Superhostly Is Building Experiences, Brands and Demand
At Superhostly, we believe the future of short-term rental management is about more than managing bookings. It’s about creating memorable stays, producing compelling content, building stronger brands and finding new ways to put exceptional properties in front of the right audiences.

Recently, we brought that philosophy to life with a curated influencer weekend at Infinity on Moss, one of the waterfront homes we manage in Toukley on the NSW Central Coast.
Set directly on Tuggerah Lake, the property provided the perfect setting for a weekend built around hospitality, lifestyle, content and collaboration.
We brought together creators with a combined following of more than 2 million people across multiple platforms, alongside local experience providers and lifestyle brands, for a curated weekend designed around the property.
The goal was simple: rather than just showing people what the property looks like, we wanted to show them what staying there could actually feel like.
Creating experiences worth sharing
A great property is only part of what makes a stay memorable.
Throughout the weekend, we created a series of experiences designed to bring Infinity on Moss to life and give our creators genuine moments to enjoy, capture and share.
The weekend included a private morning yoga session with an instructor, a private chef experience, a hands-on pizza-making class with Sorrento Pizza, as well as games, activities and prizes throughout the stay.
Each experience was chosen to complement the property and make use of the home in a natural way.
For the morning yoga session, we also partnered with Verish, who provided yoga apparel for our influencers to wear during the experience.
This brought another dimension to the activation — connecting the property, creators, a wellness experience and a lifestyle brand within the same piece of content.
The yoga session itself became a calm waterfront morning experience, providing a completely different way to showcase the home. Instead of simply showing bedrooms, bathrooms and amenities, the content demonstrated what a morning at the property could actually look and feel like.
Rather than simply photographing rooms, we were able to capture the home being lived in.
That is what turns a property from somewhere people can stay into somewhere people can imagine themselves staying.
Why influencer partnerships matter
Short-term rentals compete for attention.
Potential guests are constantly scrolling through accommodation platforms, social media, travel videos, recommendations and lifestyle content. Great listing photography remains essential, but today there are far more ways for a property to be discovered.
Creator partnerships give properties an opportunity to reach audiences in a more organic and lifestyle-driven way.
Instead of seeing another accommodation advertisement, viewers see real people cooking together, enjoying the waterfront, taking part in a morning yoga session, sharing a meal and spending time with friends.
The property becomes part of the experience rather than simply the backdrop.
For Infinity on Moss, the influencer weekend also allowed us to generate content that can continue to be used across social media, our website, property marketing and wider Superhostly campaigns long after the weekend itself.
That creates value beyond a single social media post.
Turning properties into content
One of the biggest opportunities we see in short-term accommodation is the ability to tell a stronger story around a property.
Every home has something different to offer.
For a waterfront property like Infinity on Moss, that might be mornings beside the lake, yoga overlooking the water, entertaining around the pool, cooking together or enjoying dinner prepared by a private chef.
For another property, the story might revolve around architecture, family travel, wellness, food, nature or its location.
Our job is to identify those characteristics and find ways to communicate them.
When content is built around genuine experiences, it gives prospective guests more than a list of amenities.
It gives them a reason to picture themselves there.
Working with creators, brands and local businesses
One of the most exciting parts of the weekend was bringing different businesses, brands and experiences together around the property.
Alongside our creators, we worked with local experience providers and lifestyle brands — from our private chef and pizza-making experience with Sorrento Pizza, through to our partnership with Verish, who supplied yoga apparel for the morning wellness session.
These collaborations can create value for everyone involved.
Creators receive unique experiences and new content opportunities. Brands and local businesses gain exposure within authentic lifestyle content. Guests discover more of what a destination can offer. And the property itself becomes associated with something far more memorable than simply accommodation.
For an owner, it also means their property is being positioned within a much broader marketing ecosystem.
As our portfolio continues to grow, we see significant potential in building more relationships with creators, lifestyle brands, hospitality businesses and experience providers across Australia.
More than a listing
This weekend also reflects something broader about how we think about property management at Superhostly.
We don’t believe the role of a short-term rental manager should end with creating an Airbnb listing, coordinating cleaners and answering guest messages.
Those fundamentals are incredibly important, and strong operations will always sit at the core of what we do.
But we believe the best operators should also be asking:
- How can this property stand out?
- What experiences naturally suit the home?
- What content could we create around it?
- Which creators, businesses or brands could be a good fit?
- How can we increase the number of places where potential guests discover the property?
Those are the kinds of questions that shape how we are building Superhostly.
We are building a hospitality brand
There are plenty of businesses that can manage a short-term rental.
We want Superhostly to be known for something more.
We are building a hospitality brand around the properties we manage and the experiences guests have within them.
That means investing in professional photography and video, direct booking, creator collaborations, brand partnerships, social media, local experiences and new ways of marketing properties.
It also means being willing to experiment.
Not every marketing initiative needs to look the same, and not every property should be promoted in exactly the same way.
A waterfront home, a city apartment and a regional retreat each offer different stories and different opportunities.
Our role is to understand what makes each property special and find the best ways to communicate that to the market.
What this means for our owners
For our property owners, this approach means having a management partner that is thinking beyond day-to-day operations.
Our core responsibility will always be to manage properties professionally, provide excellent guest experiences and protect our owners’ assets.
But where the right opportunity exists, we also want to help properties reach further.
That might be through creator partnerships.
It might be through professional video and photography.
It might be through collaborations with brands and local businesses.
Or it might be through social media, direct booking campaigns and other forms of content-led marketing.
The strategy will differ from property to property, but the mindset remains the same:
Don’t simply list the property. Build demand around it.
Building the next generation of short-term rental management
Our influencer weekend at Infinity on Moss was a glimpse of the kind of short-term rental business we are building.
A business where strong operations and strong marketing work together.
Where properties become part of a wider brand.
Where creators, lifestyle brands, local businesses and hospitality can come together.
And where owners have a management partner that is constantly looking for new ways to make their property stand out.
Better properties. Better experiences. Better content. Stronger brands.
That is the direction we believe short-term rental management is heading.
And it is the direction we are taking Superhostly.
